New years Eve

New Years Eve and a day at home for a change this year. Today I am attempting to make homemade ravioli from recipes in my Christmas gift pasta book and my pasta ravioli cutter Christmas gifts. I’m even going to try rolling out the pasta by simple rolling pin rather than pasta machine. Since it is New Years Eve I could not not wear tights today for this momentous occassion! I’ve chosen a sparkly, glittery fleur de lis stylee pattern pair from George at Asda, part of my Christmas gift assortment from my good friends.

Post Christmas/Pre-New Year Blues

How to solve those post Christmas/pre-New Year blues? By wearing a brand new pair of Christmas present hosiery. Ok, I went a bit mad when I added these to my wish list, and got a couple of tights of a colour I wouldn’t normally choose but a little madness has always made my life more fun! These Trasparenze pair of tights are called Gipsy and instead of the more usual black are in white. They are a fancy fishnet so white on skin.

Christmas gifts 2015

Tights tights tights, they’re coming out my ears. News number 1… I won a competition and was the winner of some sexy stockings. Thank you Jonathan Aston! That was my bonus Xmas present and they arrived on Christmas Eve. And news number 2, what you’ve all been wanting to know, what I got for Christmas. Ta dah! So I’m stocked up again for a few more months!

Boxing Day and after turkey and trimmings, I’m off to my aunt’s house for a massive family gathering. A total of 3 sittings to accommodate all of us. So Chinese roasts for dinner. A pair of Vera Wang floral tights for the occasion.

Christmas eve attire

Yippee, it’s Christmas Eve and I’m doing my best to look like an incognito elf with these stripy red and orange Falke woolley tights. Hope it’s going to be a cold day because they do keep me rather warm. My 5 foot frame doesn’t help with my whole sophisticated elf look because they also have a tendency to fall and gather at the ankle. So I’ll look like Nora Batty trying to look like an elf.

Two more days to go and I’m wearing a pair of Disney inspired Frozen pseudostockings by Primark. So a black pair of tights with a stockings top with Olaf peeking out. These were the same brand as my Minions pair which holed straight away without me even setting foot out of the house to seek adventure in the big, big world, so I’m hoping these will last a bit longer!

On the fourth day of Christmas… (or is this the third? No no no, I’ve sussed it we are at the ninth or tenth day of Christmas and it’s not a run down it’s a run up. I’m taking the twelveth day as Christmas day itself because that’s when you get all the presents.) Tights of the day, Nadira by Fiore. A metallic patterned back seamed pair of tights in black. As usual smooth and silky to the touch. A great looking pattern with glitter thread running through it. Adding an extra bit more glamour to this festive season. Another picture later when I get some assistance.
