I’ve put on my best Halloween smile and found the easiest costume ever and have become an oriental, old Wednesday Addams. Donning a pair of Legsavenue Itsy Bitsy Spider net pantyhose I got into the Halloween spirit. Shame everyone doesn’t appreciate this look all year round. Getting used to this winter weather

I’m a bit out of practice and still getting used to this winter weather. All I want to do is veg at home in some comfy clothes. This blog has needed me to wear a dress and tights so I have to look presentable. My plan to wear new hosiery or any of my award winners or runner ups is creating a bit of a brainache. Cotton Soft Stockings

I wore these cotton soft stockings or holdups by Aristoc. They come in a 10 denier but it felt higher. The matt finish just felt so soft and cottony. The simple tramline top kept everything classy and the silicon backing just held like glue. When I first put them on I thought I might lose feeling in my legs but that settled and I just felt confident that I didn’t have any dropping issues.

“Oroblu Miss”ed me

Over the Summer months I’ve “Oroblu Miss”ed me looking at all the beautiful hosiery I could buy. Granted Summer probably isn’t the season for tights so the range of designs has been a bit sparse. I did manage to grab some out of season specials so all was not lost. I got these out and look at the detail! Burlington waves

These Burlington waves design were a bit of a let down. Sorry for the wobbly picture. The design was OK. Black with a kind of purple tinge to try and make the pattern pop. This didn’t make it pop but it did allow you to see the wavey line design. Back to norm

It’s mid October and we’re back to norm. The trees are starting to look bare and there’s always a slight chill in the air. We have ways of making it less horrible, by wearing these tights again. Tesco chevron hosiery, bargain bucket deal last seen in March when I went for a quick grocery shop and found these. Paired with a red suede dress and knee high boots, I had the sophisticated urban look to a tee!

Legsavenue Mustachioed

Had a fun day wearing these legsavenue mustachioed tights. Very vibrant and a recognisable pattern. No slippage so no wrinkles and they stayed put. After wearing a series of black tights I did feel a little exposed but that will wear off as the tights season progresses and I start getting more wacky coloured hosiery.

Trasparenze Armonica, what a beautiful pair of tights. I wore these last year and reproduced the cover at home and it looked like a professional photograph. On this new season occasion, they didn’t disappoint. A clear, bold pattern with the added benefit of being comfortable.

She turned her back and left in a flurry of laces and bows. That’s the effect I would have had if I were a heroine in a novel. These are Gabriella Carla holdups, received from legitup. A stunning looking pair of holdups with a lacey top, block black colour and revealing backs. The pattern of laces and bows had a little sparkle. They were comfortable and my only niggle was the silicon strip wasn’t very sticky. I had to endure quite a bit of cleaning (of the strip) and pulling up (of the stocking).
