Fishnet protectors
As usual I’m revealing the secrets of a hosiery wearer with this view of my fishnet protectors.
If I’m being an optimist then this is a two for one post.
Underneath this sexy exterior lies this! An extra pair of hosiery to stop the fishnets from rubbing my soles and causing blisters. The fishnets are Donna Karan signature collection micro tulle and the socks were a freebie with an order from China.
Yes they did protect, and yes I was aware of them all the time, and yes the sexy woman aura wasn’t as sexy.
The more difficult heart shape
These are the more difficult heart shape pattern.
I feel sorry for the humble dot design. Dots never hurt a soul and then comes along these “heart” shapes which are so very indistinct, I misplaced them in the dot category. this is one of the hazards of cheap tights. great when they work. Not a great loss when they ladder but sometimes they don’t quite pull off a pattern.
Unfortunately, or luckily, a got a toe ladder so these have been banished.
Dots, I’m not so keen
Spots, I like, dots, I’m not so keen. Last post I mentioned the adoration of a spot pattern. Today it’s dots. Now you may think they are the same thing but they don’t make my heart and eyes enlarge in the same way a spot design does. Maybe it’s because I’m quite short sighted and to be able to appreciate the pattern I have to get quite close and stare.
This pair has been designed to be a little bit more interesting by adding a grid feature. From my China batch!
Spotted again
I am spotted again. I do like a spot pattern, I don’t know it but as soon as I’ve got on a pair of spotted tights, a sense of relief passes over me. The pattern never disappoints on a spot hosiery and the bigger the bettter.
These are from my China batch, yes them again. I told you I had bought loads! A lovely silky sheer feel to them and in this case a brilliant large spot design.
Lips and Eeees
Here are lips and Eeees. The pattern is of lips and for some unknown reason the letter “E”. 
These were from my second china batch of tights and I thought there was a post from the first lot but no I can’t find it. As mentioned before, these tights have a silky smooth feel to them and depending on what you’re sent they can be a little short. These weren’t too bad but I do think once the lips have stretched over your legs they become a little indistinguishable.
Tights in August?!
What does this mean? Tights in August?! Has global warming changed our environment that much? Well I think a a bit.
So the month started with this pair of tights. One of my bulk buys from China. If you remember I had bought two lots of bulk buy and you will notice in the next few posts that some of these will be of the same patterns. This is one with bows 
on them which is the same pattern as my post from March “Bows for the Big Day“. This batch seemed to fit better with a slightly longer leg which meant less tight droppage. I still had to pull up!
Where have I been? Well I’ve been a bit lazy and not posted for a few weeks. I’ve been into the last few cycles of my chemotherapy and to be honest, it’s really taken a lot out of me. I should get back to normal pretty soon and due to the laziness, the rubbish summer and the start of more autumnal weather it means I’ve got so much more to share.
Get that hosiery back on
Get that hosiery back on, it’s wet and cold here in blighty. So I went tights digging and came up with these ombre grey to black tights.
More hearts?
More hearts? Yes more hearts or mouse ears?
These are hearts and before you say they’re the same as “When Love means love” hearts, they are not. Those were a single plain heart motif, these are a single heart motif and if you look closely with a grid background. I keep saying this but from my big internet batch. ( I still have many so not the last one). They had the same features as the others, good sheer material and toe reinforcing, with the not so good features, the slightly indefined pattern when stretched and the slippage if you don’t wear your superman pants over them.
