Coordinating my outfit
If I was normal I’d find it so hard coordinating my outfit. It’s not difficult and it doesn’t have to be expensive. Just a bit of guts will do the trick.
Starting my invasion of my hosiery storage I needed a wine red/burgundy pair of tights to match my dress. These purple ones will do, and you know what they were perfect.

Are socks hosiery?
Are socks hosiery? Well I’m not sure. My two arguements for them being not keep being contradicted.
- They don’t cover the bottom. Rapidly contradicted by knee highs, thigh highs and also anklets.
- They are woolly. Again tights aren’t necessarily just made from sheer denier material. Very warm woolly tights have been worn on this very blog in times of extreme cold and cosiness.
So are they hosiery? Well I have just looked hosiery up in the dictionary and yes they are! However I don’t like it!
Really, the most comfortable tights in the world?
I’m testing these to see if they really are the most comfortable tights in the world.
I wore these ten days ago and I entered an alternate reality where there was no pinching, no slipping, no toe squashing. I felt like a swadled baby but with the flexibility of a dancer.
Would I get the same emotions on a second wear after being washed?
I still think they’re a comfortable pair of tights but I did experience a bit of gravitational pull and had to pull them up a few times. This could also be from changes in the elastic after a wash which I tend to experience by how squashed my toes feel at the end of the day. The waistband is nice and wide and did still fit flat on my tummy. My silhouette was a different story but I’m not going to blame the hosiery for that just the cut price shortbread biscuits and post Christmas chocolates. Like a second viewing of a house the tights are excellent and without the euphoria they are a very comfortable pair of tights just maybe not in the world.
The most comfortable tights in the world
Today I wore the most comfortable tights in the world! As soon as I had them on, I felt elated. I usually feel a bit squashed when I put them on but these were bliss. The waist band was snug and didn’t clinch, a big problem with these lycra strong materials. Soft to the touch, good strong pattern, no dropping or bunching at the ankles. They are, and I’ll keep going on about them, the most comfortable tights in the world!
They are Omsa design tights “memory” 80 denier with a houndstooth pattern in aubergine and they feel amazing!!!
