Greenies
Yes greenies not bogies!
I think these are brill! I love the colour and the pattern and being part of the winter selection I mentioned on previous posts, they are great value from the Next outlet. Another fabulous pair of hosiery for the cold weather.

On a Winning Streak
The cherry has just been placed on top of the cake because I’m on a winning streak.
It seems I’m back on the horse and hosiery blogging is still on solid ground. It’s roughly my two year anniversary and to celebrate I’ve managed to win a competition! Yay! Yippee! So check out loveyourlegs for some fabulous tights. The prize will be shown as soon as I receive them, woo hoo double enjoyment, I’ll be getting a package through the post, so stay tuned.

Leg Warmers, I’m making them hip for next season
Leg Warmers, I’m making them hip for next season. I’ve always been ahead of the style curve, so hip that no one really notices that the trends of today, I was seeking or wearing a few years ago. Maybe that should possibly push me into the eccentric world rather the trendsetter circle. Hmmm!
Sooo, what’s with the leg warmers? Have I taken up fitness… no. Have I become obsessed with nostalgia and started to binge watch old series of Fame… no, even though I do fly! Do I have a friend as mad as me who challenged me to knit my own but then went out to get me some to make me feel better… yes!!! Like me she’s a girl with the same trendsetter (eccentric) style, and bought me bright, wacky, stripey designs. So everyday I got a special package in the post. Now I will be the brightest patient on the chemo ward! Thank you to my lovely, good friend Maz!!!

Trasparenze Show
Do you remember these Trasparenze Show tights? Well if you don’t here they are. A beautiful pair of hosiery that just finishes off an outfit. The flowers are gorgeous and you do feel that bit more special when you wear them.
Halfway through the day, I realised I hadn’t photographed the feet so please excuse their hairiness. This is what happens when you decide to have the most hirsute canine in the world.
These pictures might be very similar to the original post but I have to show you all views to completely admire these to the full.

Picture from a Hospital Bed
This is a picture from a hospital bed. The only thing I was semi looking forward to when I went into hospital was to update my blog with a pair of hospital compression stockings. Yes that’s how sad I am.
So this is what was presented to me. A green toeless pair, that I had on for three days. At first, I didn’t realise they were toeless. Due to my short legs the nurses didn’t pull them up to reveal the toeless feature, so for two days I thought I’d punctured a hole in them with my big toe and then I thought both feet had succumbed to the Hose of Fun big toe speciality. On day three just before I was detached from all my tubes, I realised they were designed with an opening.
My operation went well and on Christmas day I went home. I was sore and tired and very immobile but I was in my comfortable abode. News from the surgeon was that it was a straight forward operation and the massive lump (about 20cm) didn’t look too nasty.

Staying warm in cold climates
Still staying warm in cold climates by wearing these Penguin black tights with pink and green specks. Nice and thick and wintry. When the sun came out the pecks seemed to sparkle in the light looking neon in the daylight.
Forgive the darkness of my travel pictures. I hope you can still see the patterns.

Supernatural Powers
Using my supernatural powers, with my supernatural hosiery, I am willing the cold away! With images and thoughts of hot, summery things, the winter will go and I can bask in the warmth. That was my idea with these cactus seamed purple tights from hosetights. Did it work? Not really, you see I don’t possess supernatural powers. The tights were good though! Warm, cosy, thick. The colour was deep and inspiring. I do have seam problems and at some points during the day they became side seams on one leg and off back seams on the other. I just have a funny way of walking.

Are socks hosiery?
Are socks hosiery? Well I’m not sure. My two arguements for them being not keep being contradicted.
- They don’t cover the bottom. Rapidly contradicted by knee highs, thigh highs and also anklets.
- They are woolly. Again tights aren’t necessarily just made from sheer denier material. Very warm woolly tights have been worn on this very blog in times of extreme cold and cosiness.
So are they hosiery? Well I have just looked hosiery up in the dictionary and yes they are! However I don’t like it!

On a fine bright day
On a fine bright day like this what better to wear but the a pair of the brightest, loudest pair of tights I’ve got in the drawers. It’s the weekend so this is the ideal time to get out the sunglasses to admire these legs! Part of my delivery of ombre tights from China, branded Mengliluo. They are very soft and warming, I’ve got two pairs left but in more subdued colours therefore a better match for a work day so no more scaring people.
