Show time Trasparenze!

Spring has sprung and the warmer weather will eventually follow and because I’ve stopped adding to my collection I’ve got some really pretty items left to wear before this hosiery season is over.

Starting with this wonderful pair by Trasparenze, called “Show”. These were are very comfortable wear. Warm and cosy for this still cold day but with hidden features that delighted me.

The pattern is a coloured floral back pattern of red roses

with the vine starting at the garter detail, you can just see it at the top of the main picture. Leading you to the garter, this is in a totally contrasting colour with a bow at the front.

Finally, always a sign that they’re proud of their product, and they sure are, waistband details! This has their name included and for added flair, bows, roses and matching detail to garter.

Giulia Mona tights with a nose

I wore these Giulia Mona tights today which has a floral mock stocking top and floral ankle detail. I got the added surprise which tickled my nose, the hosiery were perfumed with a rose scent. The tights were great but I wasn’t too keen on the smell. Not sure if this is a brand speciality or an extra for just this pair of rose patterned hose.

Happy Valentine’s Day

Happy Valentine’s Day, when it gets here on Sunday. Back to the traditional sexy, impress your other half garb today with these Ballerina brand hold ups bought from a wonderful shop called mystockings, please have a look at their things, I haven’t lately because it would mean adding to my hosiery mountain.

So Ballerina Noir Touch collection Art number 189 “Stunning black hold ups with faux suspender design. Delicate detailing around the top and down the side of the leg in red and black, giving the illusion of a zip running the full length of the leg.” As described by mystockings, don’t they sound luscious!

I have had a bit of a hosiery malfucntion today with this particular pair losing stickiness and falling down. Not sure if that was because of fluff or because of my short legs (I’m sure the mock suspender look isn’t supposed to start at the knee area) and therefore positioning of the holdup. They’re of a higher denier so possibly weight pulling them down?

Ballerina hosiery is part of one of my ongoing research projects to test the freezing theory. I’ve managed to have them in the freezer for an hour before wear for these. So far I’ve not laddered or holed these frozen tights but it might be because I’m handling with care.

Hidden Gems

Hidden gems is what I found in this pair of tights. Thought I’d put on a pair of nicely patterned diamond criss cross spot design and found a cave full of treasures.

This garter top also zig zags so I have added a back view with it peeking out.

So a standard day turned out to be quite exciting in the end.  😀

Fiore Havana

Tights of the day Fiore Havana.  A picture of the back to follow later but at the moment content yourself with a view of the garter effect top and as much of the back I can get in by using my contortionist abilities.

My back view will look very much like this…

Good silky smooth feel to them and at 20 denier they feel strong enough to withstand any vigorous movements.

Wolford Spring Leaf

Last of the garter effect tights until I get some more. I probably should wear these in the right season but I think Autumn leaf would fit too. Today’s tights of the day are Wolford Spring Leaf. Which are black and spotty fishnets with a leaf design for the garter effect. These are also in XS size which I don’t usually find so I’ll let you know if these fit better for my 5 foot and half an inch stature.

Garter Number 2

So did you guess the theme this week, it is garter tights. I like it when something is hidden and only I know is there. Makes me smile and so I can brighten people’s lives!

This pair is from Gabriella and are called Arina, black on skin.

Surprise at Thigh High

Another themed week, this time tights with a surprise at the thigh high point. This pair is Lavis by Fiore from their Golden Line range, black with a contrasting grey detail for the seam and garter effect  Smooth to the feel.

The tights felt good all day and eventhough only 20 denier were extremely sturdy without being too tight. My horror when I got home and found a ladder on one of my toes!
