Monochrome Stripes
Matching monochrome stripes today. Ok maybe not the ones I’m wearing but certainly the small version are. Again modelled by my 6 year old niece, a fetching pair of tights for her Book Week “The Worse Witch” costume.
Mine, were part of a Christmas present package. They had an impressive wide waistband for comfort. Quite stretchy. Good!

Getting used to this winter weather
I’m a bit out of practice and still getting used to this winter weather. All I want to do is veg at home in some comfy clothes. This blog has needed me to wear a dress and tights so I have to look presentable.
My plan to wear new hosiery or any of my award winners or runner ups is creating a bit of a brainache. The majority of my winners weren’t exactly winners because of their practical properties of keeping me warm. They had super irresistibly powers of design and being unique and standing out. Which means in order for me to share these powers I had to wear clothes that showed them off and made my very short legs into a a visible display cabinet for these tights. As my body adjusts to the weather I am modelling today a pair of tights which did provide me with warmth and was also part of my winners/runnerups collection. Trasparenze Odeline. Look at that pattern, I loose myself in a pattern like that. They were also warm and most of all I remembered this as soon as I put them on, their feel. They feel so soft, so cosy. Just like staying at home and vegging in comfy clothes.

Geometric heaven
I was in geometric heaven with this pair by Via Spiga. Called Geometric I loved the big bold pattern today. It was clear and sharp, had a reinforced toe and the tights feel pretty good to wear too. A huge thumbs up for these, brilliant!

Be noticed with these Colourful Zigzags
Be noticed with these colourful zigzags from I think House of Holland. A base colour of navy blue with alternating zigzags in primary colours red, yellow and blue. I certainly wouldn’t be missed! An older pair from my pre blog collection with added holes,
which with a few hours shopping turned into this,

On the Sideline
Morning everyone! Special double bill for you today, today’s tights and yesterday’s.
So today’s tights of the day are these Primark spotty ones with a black sideline stripe.
And yesterday’s tights of the day were Charnos black zigzags from quite a few years ago. Part of the original set which sparked off this wild journey.

Blue Nostalgia
These are Falke tights, blue with a zigzag pattern. I’ve called this post Blue Nostalgia because I first wore them on my holiday to Vancouver last November. Ahhh the memories! From a distance, and before your eyes start playing visual tricks, the zigzags look like checks to me.
Ok, a different view. I think you’ll agree that my legs DO look like I’m six foot tall. Not! The best things come in small packages.
