Light as a feather
As light as a feather. This is Ballerina 135, a light weight hosiery, just right for me when the weather isn’t quite cold but chilly enough. I needed a bit of glamour that day too so these were perfect. A grid base with a side pattern and garter effect of a swirl flourish possibly flowery design.

Lara Wolford not Croft
This is Lara Wolford not Croft. So no utility belts here just a normal day of shopping.
Here and next I’m showing a couple of wolford tights. This is “Lara” a thick pair of hosiery in grey and a black tramline side stripe.
As always Wolford perform very well. The soft, cosy, comfortable feel was what I expected and got.

A season of nude.
I have prepared a season of nude hosiery. With lighter weeeks and warmer days, black tights weren’t for me so for a few days before the humidity caught me I wore some natural coloured tights.
So here’s the first. Le Bourget tattoo tights. This pair I wore last year , a design of butterflies all the way from France, check out my link, I wrote a good review ! 😉

More trailing flowers
More trailing flowers today. Rummaging around my hosiery collection I picked these up. Not worn since the beginnings of the blog. So far in the past they were that I nearly couldn’t find a post. Indeed they appeared before the twitter and instagram days. Ahhh a distant twinkle in my eye. When The blog only satisfied my own obsession with non black plain tights.
As you can see, a side pattern of trailing flowers. The original post called them trailing daisies and I still think they’re from Topshop. Just look at the bad photo of the original. Two phones later, my pictures hopefully are better.

Fluttering up from France
My butterfly tattoo tights came fluttering up from France from new friends Collants.fr
an online shop selling hosiery. The tights by Le Bourget called Papillon were a good fit. Very comfortable with a wide, soft waistband. They felt smooth and silky, a sign of a good sheer and they didn’t fall down. The tattoo design of butterflies  Â
was clear and sat very nicely on the leg. The fun thing about tattoo tights is that they do make people think you have a massive tattoo on your leg so I can tell why this type of hosiery is quickly becoming the big thing for this year. I don’t usually wear toeless shoes with tights but because the cover art model was wearing them I thought I should too. They worked with this hosiery especially with their invisible toes. Added to that the nude colour of the tights gave an extremely summery look to my outfit.
The tights are described as an ankle pattern, I’ve just noticed mine turns out to be a whole leg pattern!
I worry about buying from overseas, but with collants.fr I didn’t need to be. Communication was great and I was given a consignment number so I could track my package. My parcel came neatly wrapped up with some promo stuff and a net wash bag. Very handy! Christine is very helpful and has a vast range of products which when the Autumn winds start to blow I will certainly have a more detailed look at.
Overall, a good experience from both ends. The service of collants.fr was great and as always exciting, I love getting packages, and the tights were excellent. Great feel, great look, great design.

Stop and Stare from Mystockings
Stop and Stare from Mystockings were my tights of the day some time last week. Sorry for the late posting but I’ve been a bit busy with work and family.
I love mystockings! They are efficient, provide a quick and reliable service and their range of hosiery is beautiful. They stock a massive range of Ballet hosiery, started Maison Close and now Stop and Stare as well as a few others. Thank you Kriszta and the team!
So these arrived in their mystockings signature gold wrapping which eventhough you’ve bought the hosiery yourself makes it feel like your birthday again and again.
The Stop and Stare tights looked like this,
and unwrapping them gave you a step by step instruction guide on the best way to put on delicate hosiery.
Musical dandelions, is as described. A tattoo print of a dandelion head blowing away in the wind with some seeds turning into musical notes. The tights were sleek and smooth with a silky sheer quality and a slight shimmer to them.
The tattoo print was very effective and did to some eyes look like a real tattoo. They are very comfortable due to the wide waistband which unfortunately for me rolled down and then caused a bit of droppage, that superhero second pair of knickers would have come in useful.
I have seen a few posts about Stop and Stare and they have some wonderful designs. Very unique and extremely eye catching. I need more!

Bacara 05 Gabriella
Bacara 05 by Gabriella today.
Here’s the straight on view,
So a spiral pattern throughout the leg broken up with geometric shapes along the side making an unusual and eye catching pattern.
They felt a bit scratchy when I put them on but I have been wearing some quite glamorous hosiery lately and the feeling wasn’t uncomfortable just different.

Ballerina boo hoo
Ballerina boo hoo, had a bit of a cry when I put these on this morning. They came with a small ladder.
I still wore them for the day and they will hold long enough to wash and wear again. Luckily for me the ladder is contained.
So this pair of Ballerina hosiery art 285, consists of a general swirly pattern which winds from the foot, along the both sides of the leg and all the way to the thigh.
The pattern at the front waved round to the leg which then troughed at the back.
Beautiful stockings with, I hope you can see, glitter thread encased in the stitching

Ballerina 127
Ballerina 127, sorry for the lack of imaginative title but this post is a bit late and a bit late in the day too. Lots of pictures though to show off all the features.
So Ballerina hosiery 127 hold ups, in black sheer with a lacetops
a lovely floral and cross hatch pattern.
Followed by mock suspenders,
leading to a side pattern which is both on inside and outside leg and a garland knee pattern encircling the knee.
I had major problems with them falling down. Not sure if this was because they have been frozen or if due to adjustment to get the correct positioning that I over fuzzed the glue. My advice is to not use a wet paper towel to clean the glue but a wet sponge, as the better option.
Finally one last view
