CK back again
CK back again for a gin night out. These crochet patterned CK tights are lovely. I like them a lot. They can be very warming
and I have been struggling with this sudden cold weather. I just can’t get warm. Eventhough fishnets look very draughty I’ve always found them to be able to resist the cold. That’s clever sceince that is!

Freezing Weather Tights
These are definitely freezing weather tights. Posted last year these Via Spiga tights have featured a few times. The first as the warmest tights in the world, next as a base for one of my upcycling projects and then just with Dennis when I did a couple of re-wears. They are very warm but rather than being just a plain opaque pair of black tights, they are just that little bit more exciting with their woollen crochet look.

Repeat Offenders
A double dose of repeat offenders.
So yesterday I had on Pamela Mann spotty tights last seen on this post and I thought I’d sit in the car and enjoy them.
These tights have been washed and a warranted a repeat wear to demonstrate if there was any shrinkage. Not much shrinkage, the tights unworn still looked like they were made for someone that was 6 foot (I am a measly 5 foot) but I didn’t feel as much gravity wrinkling. My thinking being that there is a little bit of shrink but this just made them feel a bit more comfortable and sturdy.
Today’s gem is this pair of tights originally from this post about the warmest tights in the world
and I still think they are. Unlike the Pamela Manns, these still show quite a bit of excess on my tiny legs. So as you can see from the main picture I own the warmest pair of hosiery in the world and also the warmest looking dog too.

More Chevrons
More chevrons for today’s second post. These are what I wore today, a more wool feel grey, chevron and line pattern pair of tights. A pair from my collection before the blog started so not a brand I can remember. These are soft to the touch, woolly and warm. I’m feeling the cold this week so again they’ve hit the spot and are keeping me cosy.

Like Mount Etna
Like Mount Etna when she’s erupting this pair will keep you toasty. From their “winter collection,” Gabriella hosiery have delivered again. I felt ready for a winter battle when I unwrapped these. They had a reassuring thickness and with a reinforced toe section they meant business. The pattern was more distinct from the back than the front, maybe due to more stretch on that side. A satisfying pair of tights for the cold.

Keeping warm with the hoses
Are you keeping warm with the hoses? Remember to wrap up and stay warm by wearing those thick woolly tights that you’ve got deep inside those drawers of yours. These are due for retirement, I’ve cleverly hidden the numerous holes from your view by positioning them on the back. Hey I don’t see them so that’s ok.
I am very excited today because I’ve received a few pairs in the post that I’m planning for a Valentine theme week, towards Valentine’s Day and an animal print week that I’m going to put on this coming week so remember to stay tuned for some extremely exciting tights!

Combat cold
To combat cold I’m wearing thick woolly tights. These are grey with white and red specks. With a formed foot there’s always the right way when I’m putting them on. Part of my “before blog” collection so no make or brand.

Warmest tights in the World?
Even though this part of the UK is sunny, by heck it’s cold and windy! I’m wearing Via Spiga tights in black which are woolly fishnet-like. They are extremely warm and cosy and although they are size A/B (the smallest size) they are a bit long in the leg and the top for my short stature. It just makes them doubly hot by covering half my body as well as my legs!
The price tag claims they retail at $29 but I got them for £3.99 from TK Maxx. An excellent choice for a chilly day. My current warmest tights in the world.
They also unfortunately wrinkle at my ankles because of my diminutive size. 🙁
