diamond

First of 2018-19
This is officially the first of 2018-19 posts.
It’s also a rewear of Golden Lady diamond fishnets. A great looking pair of tights. Doesn’t everyone love cheap finds that keep giving.
For the eagle eyes ones out there these were first shown under the link above. For the extreme eagle eyes ones they were also featured a few months later as the first post of the 2016-2017 season.
They are obviously a great pair of hosiery since I’ve decided on two occasions to start new seasons with them and I guarantee this won’t be the last time you see them.

Faux Christmas
This is my faux Christmas post. As I have mentioned before I am either still in hospital or I’ve been allowed to go home and heal, both situations are not ideal for hosiery wearing so this post was aptly chosen for the yuletide edition because of their cheekiness. They bring a little cheer into your lives.
Legsavenue “Hardcore net pantyhose” it says on the packet. Quite comfortable, gorgeous design. A crochet style fishnet creating a diamond, criss cross pattern. Having such big holes made them a bit difficult to put on with the holes becoming tourniquets on my toes. Then the interesting bit came along, a slight change in weave. The toes became a smaller fishnet which more or less worked to save my digits but with a bit of wriggling and stretching I did get a couple of strangled toe moments. They are not a thin thread but a thick string so still felt very warming despite the gigantic fishnet holes.

First Post 2016-17
Welcome to the first post of 2016-17!
The weather today was not great, grey, dull, cooler so the hosiery came out to play. I always knew this blog would give people a whole lot of useless information and as you can see my first blog last year was when I set up around the third week of Sept. By then I had been wearing tights for about a week. Which means that the weather changed considerably around mid Sept, which is happening again this year too. See I’m offering meteorological insight as well as leg fashion advice!
This year being my second year of blogging will include new additions and also my award winners and runner ups.
Today’s tights of the day are Golden Lady diamond fishnets. Winner of May 2016, worn three times and unfortunately deceased after this wear due to holes in both big toe areas. They won because of the gorgeous, clear and vibrant pattern. The sun failed to materialise so they also lasted the whole day.

What to wear when it rains
What to wear when it rains, well the answer to that is TIGHTS! So I thought the summer was well and truly here but this wet stuff called rain always gets in the way and spoils my attempts to get rid of my Vitamin D deficiency, oh well, I’ll just have to keep taking the tablets.
Burlington hosiery, part of the Falke name. No name for the pattern but they are a grey checked “argyle”.
Nice diamond detail on the waistband and a wide waistband for added comfort.
I knew it was going to be a bad day when I put my fingers through them as I was putting them on, luckily it was near the top and so my dress covered the hole up. However, the bad luck was not restricted to just my hole, they do fall these tights and so a little pulling up was required during the day. That’s the worse of my luck so not really such a bad pair of hosiery really.

Fantastic fishnets
These fantastic fishnets were bought from a discount hardware store. They are Golden Lady tights, diamond patterned fishnets. Wearing them on the first, very late hot summery day of the year and on a trip to London they had great impact. The pattern is fantastic and I do love the way patterned fishnets feel so classy. My only problem with them is they start to rub the soles of my feet if I’m doing any amount of walking.

Brighten things up with purple
Brighten up the day with this pair of purple tights. Quite hard to match with my usual professional garb but in order to highlight the day I wore them anyway. From my collection of “old” worn tights and I thought it was from good, sensible Marks and Sparks but the fit isn’t quite like them so no idea where they are from. I do know I got them from family one birthday quite a few years ago.
