My mind has gone doolally

With all these backdated, saved up posts my mind has gone doolally and I can’t remember a thing about these. Luckily for me I predicted this mind lapse and noted that these were  a floral fishnet from Next. Good toe protecting area but then this happened, I must add that my only explanation for this is that my feet haven’t fair well from the chemotherapy I had. These were worn a couple of months after treatment finished and I had to adapt to the numbness I still feel in them. That is my excuse for ruining a pair of decent, strong patterned tights. On this occasion the hosiery were not to blame.

Christmas Anklets

I wore these Christmas anklets for this most jolly of seasons. I bought these from Next outlet for a quid and they are brilliant. Cute floral design with a bit of pink bling at the top. Comfortable and they didn’t slip or twist to my surprise. Wore them with a maxi dress so unless I showed you, you would have thought I was wearing a normal pair of tights. 😀

Next Spree

Just before Christmas I went and had a Next spree. The local outlet store sells discounted hosiery for £1 a pair so I bought five or six. They’re great, patterned and some unusual colours too. This is one of them. A cream coloured crocheted holey pair. Warm, comfy, think I wore them that really cold spell just before Christmas. Did the trick. Here’s a

Back to “here’s one I’ve worn before”

Back to “here’s one I’ve worn before”, this is referring to the lack of new tights I’ve not worn and I do still have a few stashed away and still adding to. A comfy pair last worn and blogged about in Next spotty. I love the big spots on these and they were part of a bargain lot I bought. Hopefully these pictures a bit clearer,  at least they’re in the light.

Care Package Surprise

I got a care package surprise from my friend SM and as well as the chocolate treats, candles, and the “feel better” knick knacks, it also included these Next giraffe socks. It made the week so much better!

Next ribbed

So this pair of Next ribbed tights are the last of the batch of tights I bought from the bargain bucket at Next. Brown ribbed did very well. It was a bit chilly and I needed a bit of warmth and the straight ribbed design always gives the appearance of longer legs.

Next Next spots

Next Next spots are me third offering from my treasures I got a week ago. The spots are fairly large and against the tan/natural background they stood out really well. They were described at work as a daring pair of tights but they obviously hadn’t been witness to my numerous other offerings which I do consider daring and wacky and out of this world. With a reinforced toe they were comfortable and I have been chuffed to bits with this magical hoarde I bought.

Orange Tartan

Orange tartan! I hear you all splutter. But no, they really worked. Part of my Next bargain buys, they were really soft with that comfy cosy feel. I really loved them so don’t knock it until you’ve had a go yourself.

Next to shimmer

Next to shimmer! I got these in the Next outlet and they were a bargain price so I bought four pairs altogether, which I will be showcasing over the next few days. If your size is available, bargain buckets, outlet joints and sale items are my favourite haunts for tights. They are a treasure trove for unusally patterned hosiery or out of this world colours.

This shimmery blue pair provided a bit of glitter to my day. They were very scratchy due to the “glimmer” element. They did have a reinforced toe so at least the scratchiness did not affect the toes.
